With Pivot Park in Oss and the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven (HTCE), Brabant has two highly developed campuses that act as growth accelerators for (foreign) companies. With Pivot Park mainly focusing on Biopharma and HTCE on Medtech. Both campuses have a strong startup ecosystem with promising companies such as Glycostem, Usono and Citryll.
In addition, at places such as the Holst Center, Pivot Park Screening Center, Philips Innovation Campus and the AI innovation Hub, you can discover the most recent innovations based on AI, Drug Development, Medical Wearables and Imaging. And in combination with impressive neighbors such as MSD, Organon, Astra Zeneca, Philips, Intel and Aspen, there is a great breeding ground for innovations.

Advanced Medical Technology
One in five Dutch MedTech companies is located in Brabant, and more than half of them are located in Brainport Eindhoven. The Brabant MedTech sector is a serious growth engine for the province and the country. The MedTech companies in Brabant are active in a wide variety of medical domains and markets. The domain of ‘diagnostics and medical imaging techniques’ is remarkably strongly represented. An important stimulus comes from Philips Healthcare.
Animal Health
In Boxmeer, a number of key ingredients have been interconnecting for many years, building the strongest Animal Health region in the world. And today, a unique cluster of companies like Nutreco, MSD Animal Health, Hendrix Genetics and Marel are located there.
Drugs Discovery & Manufacturing (Immunology)
Based on a history of over 100 years of pharma innovation initiated by Organon, Brabant is an increasingly popular location for biotech companies, especially immunology and cell therapy. In Brabant you will find an ‘Industry Based Ecosystem’, where people know what it takes to get a product/medicine into the market. And the proof of this are recent showcases like Keytruda (MSD) and Calquence (Acerta Pharma/AstraZeneca).
Regenerative Medicine
Regenerative medicine aims to restore or even completely replace the function of failing tissues or organs. As a result, lifelong treatment of symptoms is no longer necessary. Brabant is leading the way in the development and application of biomaterials in tissue and organ regeneration. Professors Bert Meijer and Carlijn Bouten play a pivotal role in this field of research, heading and directing several national and international research institutes and cooperative consortiums.

Brabant is home to virtually all levels of the robotics markets thanks to its advanced high-tech ecosystem and specialist technical universities. Brabant excels in robotics, where artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced engineering meet to produce breakthrough technologies. Adding to this are the connections with hospitals and medical facilities within Brabant that collaborate on such projects.
Smart Health (AI)
Becoming strong in the world of Smart Health and AI was a natural development for Brabant, where high tech and life sciences and health have gone hand-in-hand for many decades.
Brabant has a strong culture, history and tradition in informal and constructive partnerships based on trust and open innovation. The people who work at innovative (LS&H) companies, all have a history or connection with Organon (MSD) or Philips. This means that companies can easily find each other, but also that industry knowledge is available. This knowledge ensures that these companies know what it takes to bring a product to market.
